Terms and Conditions

Last updated: [4/11/2026]

1. About us and these terms

MasterStroke Studio is operated by Brett Charles Sweetnam, trading as MasterStroke Studio, ABN 37 705 774 343.

These Terms and Conditions cover purchases made through our website and use of its content and features. Please read them before ordering. The product information, prices and delivery details presented when you order also form part of your purchase.

Contact us through our Contact page or at brett@masterstrokestudio.com.au.

2. Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms removes or limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including those under the Australian Consumer Law.

Where that law applies, our products must meet its consumer guarantees, including acceptable quality, suitability for any relevant disclosed purpose and an accurate description.

A major product failure gives you the right to choose a refund or replacement. For a minor failure, we will provide a remedy at no charge within a reasonable time.

Any additional warranty or voluntary returns offer operates alongside your statutory rights.

3. Product information

Please check the product listing carefully before ordering, including handedness, dimensions, compatibility and what is included. Contact us if you need help selecting a model.

Images, videos and the interactive 3D viewer illustrate the product and its features. Display settings and lighting can affect how colours appear. Accessories shown for demonstration are included only where the listing says so.

4. Prices and payment

The currency used for your purchase must be identified before payment. The checkout will show your order total, including applicable taxes, delivery charges and any other charges we collect.

Prices and promotions may change for future purchases. A later price change does not change an order you have already placed.

Payment must be completed using an available checkout method. Please use a payment method you are authorised to use.

If we discover a pricing or listing error affecting your order, we will contact you to explain it and agree on a resolution. We will not charge an additional amount or substitute a different product without your agreement.

5. Orders and changes

Please provide accurate contact and delivery details. We will send your order confirmation to the email address you provide.

If you notice a mistake or want to change or cancel an order, contact us promptly. We will let you know whether the request can be accommodated before dispatch. After dispatch, our returns arrangements and your statutory rights apply.

If an item you have paid for is unavailable, we will contact you promptly. You may choose a refund for the unavailable item, including any associated delivery charges that should be refunded, or agree to an alternative.

6. Shipping and delivery

Available delivery destinations, shipping charges and estimated timeframes will be shown in our delivery information or at checkout before you order.

Delivery estimates can be affected by carrier or customs delays. We will communicate any significant delay we become aware of and help resolve delivery problems.

If your parcel is missing, arrives damaged or contains an incorrect item, contact us with your order details. We will investigate and provide any remedy required by law. You do not need to resolve the matter with the carrier yourself before contacting us.

International orders — import duties and taxes

United States: Applicable import duties, including tariffs, are added to your order total at checkout and paid when you place your order. We arrange payment of these charges through Zonos before your shipment enters the United States.

Other international destinations: Unless expressly stated as prepaid or included in your order total, applicable import duties, local taxes, customs clearance fees and other import charges are the customer’s responsibility. These charges may become payable when your shipment arrives in the destination country and may need to be paid before customs clearance or delivery.

Import charges are determined by the destination country’s authorities and vary according to local requirements.

7. Change-of-mind returns and exchanges

We offer change-of-mind returns and exchanges between our right-handed and left-handed models. You must request a return or exchange within 14 days of receiving your delivery.

To make a request, email brett@masterstrokestudio.com.au with your order details and whether you would like a refund or handedness exchange. Please contact us before returning your item so we can provide the return address and instructions.

Packing your return

Please pack all returned items securely with adequate cushioning to protect the product and prevent its components from moving or rubbing together during transit. Where possible, reuse the original packaging and protect it with suitable outer packaging to help keep both the product and packaging in good condition.

Returned products must be undamaged. We will inspect the returned goods before approving a change-of-mind refund or exchange.

Change-of-mind refunds

For an approved change-of-mind return:

  • You are responsible for arranging and paying for return postage.

  • The original delivery charge is non-refundable.

  • A $15 AUD administration fee will be deducted from your refund.

  • An additional $10 AUD replacement packaging fee if the original packaging cannot be reused.

Your refund will therefore be the amount paid for the returned product, less the $15 AUD administration fee, less the $10 AUD replacement packaging fee (only when applicable). The original delivery charge will not be refunded.

Handedness exchanges

If you wish to exchange your product for the opposite-handed model, you are responsible for:

  • Return postage for the original product.

  • Delivery charges for sending the replacement product.

  • A $15 AUD administration fee.

  • An additional $10 AUD replacement packaging fee if the original packaging cannot be reused.

We will inspect the returned product and packaging and confirm the applicable exchange charges. Your replacement will be dispatched only after we have received and inspected the returned goods, confirmed that the product is undamaged, and received payment of the applicable charges.

Exchange charges can be paid by bank transfer using the BSB and account details we provide, or by credit card through Stripe.

Your statutory rights

This section applies only to voluntary change-of-mind returns and handedness exchanges. It does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable consumer law.

8. Faulty products and returns

Contact us if you believe a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise does not meet a consumer guarantee.

Please provide your order number or other reasonable proof of purchase, a description of the issue and, where practical, photographs. We may need to assess the product to determine the appropriate remedy.

Original packaging is not required for a consumer-guarantee claim. Contact us for return instructions and package the product securely if a return is needed. We will cover reasonable return costs where required by law.

Any conditions for voluntary change-of-mind returns are separate from these rights.

9. Product use and training guidance

Follow the assembly, adjustment and training instructions supplied with your MasterStroke Studio. Check that the components are secure and use the trainer on a suitable, stable surface with adequate space for your stroke.

The trainer contains magnets. Keep the product and its components out of reach of young children. Stop using it if a component is damaged or loose and contact us for advice.

Our training videos, routines and demonstrations explain how to use the product. Progress depends on factors such as your starting point, practice and technique; we do not promise a particular handicap, score improvement or result within a fixed period.

This guidance does not limit our responsibility to supply products and content that meet applicable legal requirements and any express promises we make.

10. Website content and interactive features

You may view our website, watch training videos and use the 3D viewer for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Our website content, branding, images, videos and 3D assets are owned by us or used with permission. Except where the law permits, you must obtain permission before reproducing, distributing or commercially exploiting them.

Do not misuse the website, interfere with its security or operation, or attempt to access another person’s information.

Interactive features require a compatible device and browser. If a feature does not work for you, contact us for help. This does not remove any rights relating to content or access expressly included with your purchase.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information provided through the website, checkout and contact forms.

Privacy Policy:

12. Responsibility and resolving problems

These terms do not impose a blanket exclusion of responsibility for defective products, negligence, misleading information or other matters for which we are legally responsible.

If you have a concern, contact us with the relevant details so we can work towards a resolution. This does not prevent you from seeking help from a consumer protection agency or exercising any other legal rights.

13. Changes and applicable law

We may update these terms for future website use and purchases. The version presented when you placed your order continues to apply to that purchase unless you agree to a lawful change.

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland and applicable Commonwealth laws. Mandatory consumer protections and any right to bring a claim in another jurisdiction remain unaffected.

If a provision is legally unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent they can operate lawfully.
