MasterStroke Studio is a putting stroke trainer designed to help you develop a consistent, repeatable stroke. Its adjustable rails guide your putter through a calibrated 12° arc, while the Parallax Eyeline System helps you check your eye position at address.
-
MasterStroke Studio guides you through an elite movement pattern, which you can repeatedly practice at home or on the practice green. The aim is to reinforce the neuromuscular patterns behind a repeatable stroke. The training approach combines guided strokes, non-contact practice and final free strokes with the trainer removed, helping you work towards reproducing the movement independently.
-
Yes. Beginners can use the full assembly to become familiar with the guided stroke path. More experienced golfers can work on non-contact precision, check their eyeline position and use the different training modes to vary their practice.
-
Yes. The rail spacing is adjustable to suit different putter widths. For your starting setup, leave approximately 2 mm of clearance on each side of the putter head.
-
75mm to 135mm
-
Loosen the adjustment knob about half a turn, then slide the outside rail inward or outward to suit your putter. Once the clearance is set, tighten the knob by hand to secure the rails.
-
The guide sections connect magnetically to the main rails. Attach both front and both rear guide pieces for Full Assembly Mode. Watch the set-up guide for a demonstration of the magnetic assembly and putter width adjustment.
-
Mode 1: Full Assembly Mode — Keep all guide pieces attached for full stroke guidance.
Mode 2: Home Use Mode — Remove the two rear guide pieces for a more compact setup.
Mode 3: Free-Stroke Mode — Remove the two front guide pieces to allow a free follow-through while retaining guidance at the start of the stroke.

The eyeline pupils provide a visual check of your eye position. With your eyes directly over the ball, the pupils appear completely black, confirming the correct eyeline position. As your eyes move inside or outside the line, white slits become visible, indicating that your eyeline position has shifted.
-
Yes. You can practice strokes without a ball to focus on the movement and your rail clearance. Add a ball when you want to practice making the same stroke while striking putts towards a target.
-
Yes. You can practice at home or on a practice putting green. Set the trainer on a flat surface with enough room for your chosen training mode and stroke.
-
A putting mat is useful for rolling putts indoors, but it is not required for practicing strokes without a ball. The anti-slip rubber strips also allow you to set up the trainer on suitable hard surfaces.
-
The anti-slip rubber strips underneath the rails help keep the trainer stable on floorboards, tiles, concrete and other hard surfaces.
-
A suggested starting routine is 10–15 minutes per session, five days a week. Focus on controlled, purposeful strokes and adjust the session length to suit your experience. Follow along with our Training Session video and learn a focused practice routine designed to build a consistent, repeatable stroke you can trust.
-
Light rail contact is completely normal and will help you feel the guided path when learning the movement. As your control improves, widen the clearance to approximately 5 mm on each side and practice making strokes through the centre without touching either rail.
-
With approximately 5mm of rail clearance on each side of your putter, make several strokes deliberately following the right rail, then several following the left rail. Finish by finding the centre and making strokes without contact. This helps you explore the space between the rails and recognise a centred stroke.
-
Yes. Finish by removing the trainer completely and making free strokes. This gives you an opportunity to reproduce the movement without guidance. The follow-along training session video takes you through this progression.
-
Progress varies with your starting point and how consistently you practice. Look for improvements in your ability to repeat the stroke, maintain your eyeline position and make non-contact strokes. The aim is to carry that control into free strokes with the trainer removed.
-
The full assembly is 850 mm long. Allow additional room for your stance, putter and intended practice. Home Use Mode provides a more compact setup by removing the two rear guide pieces, reducing the overall product length to 620mm.
-
Yes. MasterStroke Studio comes with a drawstring carry bag for easy storage and transport. The magnetic guide pieces detach from the main rails, allowing you to pack the trainer into its carry bag and slip it neatly into your golf bag—ready for your next practice session.
