2. Information we collect and how we collect it

Information you provide

When you place an order, complete a form or contact us, we collect the information relevant to that interaction. This can include:

- Your name, email address and telephone number.

- Billing and delivery addresses, including a recipient’s details if you arrange delivery to someone else.

- Products ordered, payment status, transaction references and order history.

- Enquiries, support messages, return requests and photographs or other files you choose to provide.

- Marketing preferences and consent records if you subscribe to updates.

We collect this information directly from you, or receive relevant transaction and delivery updates from providers involved in your order.

Information received when you browse

Our website and hosting providers receive technical information when your browser requests website content. This can include your IP address, browser and device information, request times, pages requested and referring website.

Where enabled, analytics tools also record information about website use. Section 5 explains cookies and tracking.

You can generally browse without giving us your name. We need certain contact, payment and delivery details to process an order. If you choose not to provide information needed for a request, we may be unable to complete it.

3. Why we use personal information

We use relevant information to:

- Process payments, fulfil orders and arrange delivery.

- Send order confirmations, delivery updates and other purchase-related messages.

- Answer enquiries and provide product, setup and training support.

- Handle returns, refunds, complaints and consumer-guarantee claims.

- Operate the website and its interactive features.

- Understand website performance through the analytics tools identified in this policy.

- Manage records, meet legal obligations and investigate fraud or security issues.

- Send marketing communications where we have the necessary consent.

If we propose a materially different use, we will provide any additional notice and obtain any consent required by applicable law.

4. Service providers and disclosures

We use service providers to operate our business. The information a provider receives depends on its role.

Our website uses:

- Squarespace for website hosting, store functionality and website forms.

- CloudFlare to host and deliver the interactive 3D product viewer.

Additional service providers

We use the following third-party service providers to support our business. Depending on your interaction with us, relevant personal information may be shared with or processed by these providers:

  • Australia Post — deliveries and tracking: We provide recipient details, including your name, delivery address and, where supplied, email address and telephone number, together with relevant parcel information, to arrange delivery, provide tracking updates and manage delivery enquiries.

  • Google (Gmail) — email communications: We use Gmail to send, receive and store business emails, including customer enquiries and support correspondence. These communications may contain your name, email address, message content, attachments and any order or other personal information you include.

  • Zonos — international duties and taxes: For international shipments, we may provide your name, contact details, delivery address and relevant order and shipment information, including item descriptions and values, to calculate and facilitate the collection of applicable import duties, taxes and related charges, and support customs processing.

  • Stripe and PayPal — payment processing: Depending on your selected payment method, these providers process payment information and relevant customer and transaction details. This may include your name, contact details, billing or delivery address, order information, payment amount and payment-method details. They use this information to process payments and refunds, manage disputes and help detect and prevent fraud.

We disclose order, contact or delivery information to the providers that need it to perform their role. Payment providers process the financial details entered through their checkout systems. We receive transaction and order information needed to administer your purchase.

Please do not send payment-card details through our contact form or ordinary email.

We may also disclose relevant information to professional advisers, to comply with legal requirements, or where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud or establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

Some providers handle information on our behalf; others also process information for their own purposes, such as payment security. Their privacy policies explain those activities:

5. Cookies, analytics and advertising tools

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to support functions such as shopping carts, checkout, security and remembering preferences.

Optional analytics or advertising technologies can involve additional information about your visits and interactions.

Analytics, advertising and cookies

We use Squarespace Analytics, Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to understand how visitors use our website, improve the shopping experience and measure the effectiveness of our marketing. These services use cookies and similar tracking technologies.

Squarespace Analytics

We use Squarespace Analytics to monitor website traffic, visitor activity and sales performance. Depending on our settings and your cookie choices, information collected may include your IP address, approximate location, browser and device information, pages visited, referring websites and shopping activity. This information is processed by Squarespace to provide analytics reports.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and interact with our website. Information shared with Google may include cookie identifiers, browser and device information, approximate location, traffic sources, pages viewed and interactions such as clicks and purchases, where tracking is configured. We use these reports to improve our website and understand its performance.

Meta Pixel

We use Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of advertising on Facebook and Instagram and help show relevant advertisements to people who have interacted with our website.

Information shared with Meta may include cookie identifiers, IP address, browser and device information, pages or products viewed, and actions such as adding products to the cart, starting checkout or completing a purchase. Purchase information may include product identifiers, order value and currency. Meta processes this information in accordance with its own privacy and cookie policies.

Cookie controls

You can manage cookies through your browser settings, including blocking cookies or deleting cookies already stored on your device. Your browser’s help section explains how to change these settings. Restricting certain cookies may affect the functionality of our website.

Where applicable law requires permission before optional tracking is used, we will obtain that permission. This policy itself does not give us your consent to optional cookies or advertising.

6. Interactive 3D product viewer

Our interactive viewer is hosted through Cloudflare. Opening it connects your browser to that service to load the product model and demonstrations.

Cloudflare receives technical request information, including IP address and browser or device details, to deliver and protect the service.

The viewer does not require you to enter your name, email address or payment details. Website analytics and cookie settings are described separately above.

7. Marketing communications

If you subscribe to product news, training updates or offers, we use the contact details and preferences you provide to send those communications.

Marketing messages identify us and provide an unsubscribe option. You can also contact us to withdraw consent. We action unsubscribe requests within five working days.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent us from sending necessary messages about an order, delivery, refund or support request.

8. Storage and overseas handling

We hold personal information in our website, order, email and other business systems identified in this policy.

Our providers can have operations outside Australia. Information handled through services such as Squarespace and Cloudflare may be processed or stored overseas, including in the United States.

Where applicable law requires safeguards for overseas disclosures, we take the required steps. Using the website does not, by itself, constitute consent to waive protections that apply to those disclosures.

9. Protecting information

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information against loss, misuse, interference and unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.

This includes restricting access to information to people who need it for their role, managing account access and using relevant security features provided by our service providers.

If we become aware of a data incident, we will investigate and take appropriate action. Where required by law, we will notify affected individuals and the relevant authority.

10. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including managing orders, providing support, resolving disputes and meeting legal recordkeeping requirements.

Retention depends on the type of record and its purpose. For example, transaction records may need to be kept for tax and accounting obligations after an order is completed.

When information is no longer needed and we are not required to retain it, we take reasonable steps to securely delete it or make it no longer identifiable.

11. Access, correction and other choices

Contact us using the details in section 1 if you want to access personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct it.

We may need to verify your identity using information proportionate to the request. We aim to respond within 30 days, or within any shorter period required by applicable law.

If we cannot provide access or make a requested correction, we will explain the reason and available complaint options, subject to any legal restrictions.

You may also ask us to delete information. We will consider the request alongside any legal or legitimate retention requirements. Depending on applicable law and your location, other rights may apply, including rights concerning certain uses or disclosures.

Contacting us does not require you to create a customer account.

12. Privacy complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us with the relevant details and the outcome you are seeking.

We will review the complaint and aim to provide a substantive response within 30 days. If more time is needed, we will explain why and provide an expected timeframe, subject to any legal deadline.

If the matter remains unresolved, you can enquire about complaint options with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, where it has jurisdiction, or another relevant privacy regulator.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, practices or legal requirements. The current version will be available on our website with its last-updated date.

Where a change requires a separate notice or consent, we will provide that notice or obtain that consent. An updated policy does not remove rights you have under applicable law.
